She couldn’t see a thing. At least, she thought, whoever was out there couldn’t see her either. She was wrong about that. Suddenly her attacker aimed a flashlight beam around the room. It stopped as soon as it hit her. Sharon ducked, and then dashed down the aisle between the lockers. She turned the corner and swiftly ran through the next row of lockers. Her assailant followed, keeping the light on her. She knew she didn’t have much time to escape.
